Please note that:

  • Fragrance performance may vary depending on skin chemistry, climate, storage, and application.

  • Fragrance notes listed are supplied by the original fragrance house or reputable fragrance databases.

  • Colours of fragrance liquids may vary naturally between production batches.

Minor differences do not constitute a defect.

Unless otherwise stated, all fragrances sold by Scent Shelf are 100% authentic and are decanted from genuine retail bottles.

Scent Shelf is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any fragrance brand or manufacturer.

All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

5. Decanted Products

Our decants are professionally transferred from original retail bottles into sterile travel atomisers.

Customers acknowledge that:

  • Decants are not supplied in the manufacturer’s original packaging.

  • Bottle designs and atomisers may differ from those shown for illustrative purposes.

  • Minor cosmetic variations in atomisers do not affect product quality.

6. Pricing

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).

Prices may change without prior notice.

Although we strive for accuracy, Scent Shelf reserves the right to correct pricing errors before an order has been dispatched.

7. Orders

Orders are only confirmed once payment has been successfully received.

Scent Shelf reserves the right to:

  • Cancel fraudulent or suspicious orders.

  • Refuse service where required by law.

  • Limit quantities purchased.

If an order cannot be fulfilled, a full refund will be processed.

8. Payments

We accept payment through secure third-party payment providers available on our website.

Orders will only be processed once payment has cleared.

9. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery times provided are estimates and may vary depending on:

  • Remote delivery locations

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.

Due to the nature of fragrance products, we cannot accept returns on opened or used products unless required under applicable South African consumer protection laws.

If your order arrives:

  • Faulty

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Delays caused by third-party couriers

  • Loss resulting from incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer

Customers are responsible for reviewing fragrance ingredients if they have known sensitivities.

Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
